Christine Clayton is a Creative Director based in New York City. She has nearly a decade of experience working with some of the world’s most iconic brands and has led the strategy, design, and direction for a large variety of projects. Some of which include brand positioning, visual identity & logo design, packaging design and digitally integrated campaigns for the beauty, wellness, and lifestyle industries. She believes strongly that all great brands (including their visual identities) are rooted in solid brand strategy and an empathetic understanding of the client interaction; the head with the heart.
Christine’s work in branding & packaging design has been recognized by organizations such as The Dieline, FPO, Lovely Package, Graphis, The Addys, and CMYK Magazine. She lead the creative division for 2.5 years as the Creative Director for one of the world’s top heritage fragrance brands, Creed Fragrances. Just prior to that, she was Senior Designer for nearly five years at Maesa, a turn-key product design and development studio where she learned how to build beauty, skincare, and lifestyle brands from the ground up.
Originally from Austin, Christine found her way to New York after design school and now calls Manhattan home. When not working, she’s listening to podcasts, Andrew Bird and the band Beirut, Tiny Desk Concerts on NPR, and catching live performances of The Moth.
